What do you wanna be when you grow up?
In 1995, a 20-year-old Chris @Sacca responds:
“Whatever it is, it’s gonna be high stakes, high risk, high reward. I’m gonna do it from a warehouse, where it’s just a phone (email wasn’t a thing then).
It’s gonna be me and a barebones team.
I’m gonna help people create the things they love — making them as big as possible.
And we’ll do this half time from the mountains, half time from the beach. Whatever it is, I’m gonna be the best at it and stop when I’m 40.”
He basically described the job of a VC. He made early bets on @Twitter and @Uber through his venture capital firm @Lowercase Capital.
Today, Chris Sacca is 47 and a billionaire.
